Plot Synopsis

Created by Mo Wan-il and Son Ho-young, THE FROG is an eight-episode suspense thriller that revolves around the story of people whose peaceful lives are upended and thrown into uncontrollable incidents due to a mysterious guest who arrives in the middle of one tranquil summer. Jeon Yeong-ha leisurely runs a peaceful vacation rental after his wife's death -- until one day, unexpected guests find a way to his accommodation. His peace is disturbed by an enigmatic guest named Seong-a. This mysterious woman returns unannounced, forcing Yeong-ha to confront her. Meanwhile, Koo Sang-jun, the owner of a rural motel, also has his peace disturbed by a guest of his own -- and he must face his own guilt after the grisly consequences of leaving his motel unattended. Detective Yoon Bo-min is the intuitive cop who investigates both Yeong-ha and Sang-jun's cases. All eight one-hour episodes of THE FROG dropped on Friday, August 23, 2024 on Netflix.
