Plot Synopsis

Season 1 is set entirely in a restaurant called Ellipsis, and FULL CIRCLE tells the complex stories of 11 people whose lives, unbeknownst to them, are intertwined. Each half-hour episode features a conversation between two characters -- and the tangled drama of their relationship -- with one of the character's storylines carrying over into the next episode through a conversation with a new character. This continues until the series comes full circle at the end, when the tenth episode brings back one of the characters from the first episode, and introduces a new character, changing all of these characters lives irreparably. Characters passing the torch from one episode to the next include: Tim, an exchange student from England, who is returning to his homeland; his love interest, Bridgette, who is unhappily married and must decide between Tim and her husband; Bridgette's husband, Stanley, a charismatic and intense entertainment lawyer, who criticizes his wife's dreams while flirting with the waitress; Stanley's client, Jace, a famous comic known for his outlandish behavior and whose recent act has embroiled him in a Twitter war with a young, gay high school student; Chan'dra, whose life was irrevocably altered as a result of a joke that Jace took too far; Cliff, a classmate Chan'dra secretly has a crush on -- and who may be keeping a secret from her; Cliff's father, Trent, who runs into his son waiting for his secret date to arrive; Trent's wife, Trisha, a schoolteacher, who is re-igniting their romance over an anniversary dinner, as they reminisce on their time together; Peter, an aspiring singer and the restaurant's pianist, who intrudes on a special night between Trent and Trisha; Trisha's student, Robbie, who purports an unusual connection to his teacher during his reward dinner; and Robbie's mother, Celeste, with whom he shares an unnerving bond -- and a special request during his birthday brunch. FULL CIRCLE returned for its second season on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT on DirecTV's Audience Channel, with a new story and a new cast. Season 2 centers on Jimmy Parerra a Chicago cop, who 28 years ago, inspired by Frank Serpico's similar act in NYC, blew the whistle on police corruption in Chicago. His actions wound up sending his own father-in-law, Bud O'Rourke, the Chief of Detectives, to federal prison for life. The new season begins with Bud intent on exacting his revenge. Rumored to be terminally ill -- he's actually as healthy as an ox -- Bud was just released from prison early for "medical reasons." Bud's former son-in-law, Jimmy (aka Jimmy Pariah), has grown used to anticipating a bullet with his name on it around every corner. He looks like he spends 99.9% of his time alone -- which he does -- because he's estranged from his family and, at least in Chicago, despised by pretty much everybody. Jimmy's daughter, Katie, is a court reporter with bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome and Crohn's disease, and, as the daughter of the city's most hated man, she believes Donny DeStefano is her last and only chance to get married, because no one else will have her. Her brother, Paulie, has a new lease on life as a rookie Chicago cop after he kicked drugs and left his troubled youth behind. Paulie's partner and mentor is Phil Davis, a seasoned cop and formerly a detective in Special Unit Narcotics, who is thoroughly corrupt -- but not without a conscience. Jimmy's ex-wife, Shelly, is now married to Hal Rezko, an extremely wealthy, thoroughly corrupt real estate developer. Because she's well taken care of, Shelly has a supermodel's flair (and budget) for clothes, hairstyle, jewelry, and makeup. Jimmy's former partner, Richie DeStefano, is his best and only remaining friend, and Richie, now a part-time private investigator, runs payroll for the Bosses. The mob's presence in Chicago is as strong as ever, and it's made Vera Quinn, an FBI old-timer, very cynical, because she's done little to change the culture of corruption that is now pretty much institutionalized citywide. Vera's had a decades-long romantic relationship with Bud, ever since they met on the job with when Vera was an FBI Unit Boss and Bud was Chicago's Chief of Detectives. After Vera was promoted, Ken Waltham was chose to fill her spot as Unit Boss. A bit full of himself, Ken is finally managing his first big Chicago sting, Operation Badfellows, and even though he's married with children, he's having an affair with Ellen Kelly-O'Rourke. Ellen, a risk management consultant and Bud's granddaughter, has Stage IV cancer everywhere, but hides it well behind a flawless veneer of professionalism. Season 3 premiered on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as AT&T/DirecTV's Audience Network debuted back-to-back new episodes. The third season gives viewers a look into the dark underbelly of national politics, focusing on the complexity of human interaction where 10 people's lives intertwine and intersect until they come to a devastating and shocking conclusion. Set in Miami in the days leading up to the Democratic primary, a sex scandal threatens to destroy a Presidential candidate and stop his almost certain election. A dramatic political conspiracy unfolds inside a posh Miami hotel, where charismatic Senator Davis Faulkner, who is also the front-runner to become the next President of the United States, finds himself entangled in a scandal that threatens to derail his campaign and destroy his life. Those around him scramble to do damage control, until someone uncovers that this sabotage may have originated from within his own camp.
