Plot Synopsis

Based on Baku Yumemakura's book series of the same name, GAROUDEN: THE WAY OF THE LONE WOLF is a half-hour animated series that follows Juzo Fujimaki, who is on the run from a past crime and is blackmailed into joining an illicit tournament, where he faces top martial artists in deadly match-ups. Skilled in the respected martial art Takemiya-ryu, Juzo must navigate a path filled with formidable foes and his personal demons -- all while dealing with a bounty of three million yen on his head and a determined detective on his trail. All eight episodes of GAROUDEN: THE WAY OF THE LONE WOLF dropped on Thursday, May 23, 2024 on Netflix.
