Plot Synopsis

Shot in front of a live studio audience, host RuPaul puts contestants' entertainment IQs to the test by quizzing them on the hottest pop culture moments. As they answer questions, contestants have to decide whether to trust their own instincts or to turn to the GAY FOR PLAY celebrity panel for help. Then as the competition heats up, contestants pair up with one celebrity panelist and have 69 seconds to answer as many trivia questions as possible for a chance to win big cash and prizes. The GAY FOR PLAY panel of six celebrities is comprised of four regular panelists -- Michelle Visage, Todrick Hall, Carson Kressley, and Ross Mathews -- and two additional guest panelists, including celebrities, influences and former RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE contestants. Guest panelists for Season 1 are: Amber Rose, Brandi Glanville, Cheyenne Jackson, Daniel Franzese, Frankie Grande, Heather McDonald, Jeannie Mai, Kristen Johnston, Mindy Cohn, Austin & Aaron Rhodes, GloZell Green, Joey Graceffa, Kingsley, Kyle Krieger, Connor Franta, and more. Plus, GAY FOR PLAY features special episodes with celebrity contestants squaring off: Rebecca Romijn battles husband Jerry O'Connell; RHOBH's Taylor Armstrong takes on RHOOC's Gretchen Rossi; and 227 stars Marla Gibbs and Jackee Harry reunite. After a 13-month break, GAY FOR PLAY returned with new episodes on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as Logo debuted back-to-back installments. Guest panelists for the program's six-episode summer run include: Kristen Johnston, Michelle Buteau, Gretchen Rossi, Taylor Armstrong, Heather McDonald, Brandi Glanville, Frankie Grande, Cheyenne Jackson, and more.
On Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 9-10pm ET/PT, Logo premiered the season finale of GAY FOR PLAY GAME SHOW STARRING RUPAUL, showing back-to-back new episodes.
