Plot Synopsis

THE GENO AURIEMMA PROJECT is a three-episode documentary series that profiles University of Connecticut women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma, offering an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at his life and career, using interviews with the coach and important people around him, including his friends, family, colleagues and players. Each half-hour installment airs on key dates of the women's basketball season: the first episode, "Together," premiered 24 hours prior to the College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon when Connecticut faced Stanford, and the show provided an in-depth examination of Auriemma through the lens of his friends and family from the Norristown, PA; "The Program," the second episode, first aired following the Connecticut vs. South Carolina tilt on February 9, 2015, and took a detailed look at Auriemma's current roster; and the third and final installment aired after the conclusion of the NCAA Championship on Friday, April 10, 2015, focusing on the Huskies' streak since winning back-to-back national titles in 2013 and 2014.
