Plot Synopsis

This series combines interviews with re-enactments and actual archive footage to tell real stories of ordinary people who survived extraordinary situations, including: a Somali pirate attack; the hijacking of Flight 73; the Quecreek mine disaster; an Alabama prison riot; and many other life-threatening ordeals and disasters.
