Plot Synopsis

GET TO WORK chronicles instructors and students at the San Diego affiliate of Strive, an organization dedicated to getting America back to work by providing new skills and new dreams for the chronically unemployed. Each 60-minute episode of this series follows a new class of students who have no prospects for today -- they are jobless, directionless, and hopeless people who are just clinging on for survival. The instructors not only train these students, they reinvent them by completely breaking down bad habits and bad attitudes, as they exercise equal parts understanding and iron will to make their transformations complete.
