Plot Synopsis

Created and executive produced by Bill Motz and Bob Roth, THE GHOST AND MOLLY MCGEE is an animated buddy comedy series that follows tween optimist Molly, who lives to make the world a better place, and grumpy ghost Scratch, whose job is to spread misery. When one of Scratch's curses backfires, he finds himself forever bound to Molly, creating an unlikely friendship that leads to humorous misadventures as they navigate Molly's new school and town. Season 1 guest stars include Kelsey Grammer, Natasha Rothwell, Greta Gerwig, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jane Lynch, Jenifer Lewis, Danny Trejo, Aparna Nancherla, Pamela Adlon, Patton Oswalt, D'Arcy Carden, Thomas Lennon, Jessica Keenan Wynn, and Sean Giambrone. THE GHOST AND MOLLY MCGEE debuted on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 9:35pm ET/PT on Disney Channel, and new episodes the rolled out Saturdays at 9am ET/PT through November 27 on Disney Channel. After a 2.5-month break, THE GHOST AND MOLLY MCGEE returned with new episodes on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9:30am ET/PT on Disney Channel.

THE GHOST AND MOLLY MCGEE returned for its second season on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 8am ET/PT on Disney Channel, with a simulcast on Disney XD. In the season opener, "The New (Para)Normal," a new family moves in across the street, putting the McGees in a sticky situation. Scratch avoids his duties in the Ghost World.

On Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 8-9pm ET/PT, Disney Channel premiered the series finale of THE GHOST AND MOLLY MCGEE, debuting back-to-back new episodes:

"Jinx vs. the Human World" (8pm): Molly and Scratch must find a way to stop Jinx from taking over the human world.

"The End" (8:30pm): A flood of lost memories forces Scratch to make big decisions about his afterlife.
