Plot Synopsis

In GIADA ENTERTAINS, Giada De Laurentiis shares personal tips, strategies and recipes for planning memorable parties at home. Each half-hour episode features a different theme, including: a game night at her house on a Friday night, complete with healthy dishes, a skinny cocktail and lots of friendly competition; a night-time cocktail party, where the food and drinks are true indulgences; a kitchen party, because that's where every great party ends up; a fun and cost-effective family celebration, with simple outdoor games and a menu that appeals to both the little ones and the grownups; the ultimate football viewing party, offering ideas on everything from seating, snacks and drinks to friendly bets on who will win the big game; and a chocolate party for friends, featuring her favorite decadent ingredient.

Season 2 of GIADA ENTERTAINS premiered on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Noon ET/PT on Food Network. In the season opener, "Jade's Slumber Party," it's wintertime, so Giada is throwing a sleepover party for her daughter, Jade, and her friends. Giada transforms her living room into the ultimate blanket fort adorned with sleeping bags and makes healthy, kid-favorite camp-style food like Green Grape Slushies, Parmesan Crisps with Red Pepper Mayonnaise, Steak and Avocado Buns and S'mores Pizzettes.

Food Network premiered the third season of GIADA ENTERTAINS on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 11am ET/PT. In the season opener, "Taste the World Party," Giada invites friends over to sample healthy versions of dishes from around the world; Crab Summer Rolls; Warm Arugula Vichyssoise; Caribbean Roasted Pineapple.

On Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 12:30pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the fifth season of GIADA ENTERTAINS. In the season opener, "Pastabilities," Giada invites friends into her kitchen to create their own pasta shapes from scratch and enjoy a pasta party together. In Italy, many families invent their own pasta shapes, but the recipes often aren't written down and are lost over time. Before her friends arrive, Giada makes her family's favorite pastas -- Malloreddus and Pappardelle -- along with good-quality Italian homemade sauces and sides made simply and with inexpensive ingredients. Her guests feast on a menu of Malloreddus with Shrimp and Arugula, Pappardelle with Sausage Ragu and Grilled Endive with Citrus and Pancetta.
