Plot Synopsis

GIANT AMERICA is a half-hour reality series that follows comedian Tom Green, as he travels across the United States taking a behind-the-scenes look at America's most massive machines, iconic landmarks and gigantic foods. At each stop he discovers how these gargantuan creations are brought to life and maintained. On Monday, January 15, 2018 at 9:30pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Big Tex and a Giant Steak," Tom goes behind the scenes of the State Fair of Texas to watch 55-foot-tall cowboy come to life, answers the age-old question of how the 10-gallon hat got its name and attempts to set a record eating an 85-ounce steak.
