Plot Synopsis

A mysterious, clever girl named Nanno transfers to different schools, exposing the lies and misdeeds of the students and faculty at every turn. The series opens with Nanno transferring to a school that has recently earned the title of "Purest School of the Year," but she soon exposes the ugly truth. The boys all want to take advantage of Nanno and the girls are jealous and cruel. They try to destroy her, but Nanno always has the upper hand. GIRL FROM NOWHERE had its U.S. debut on Netflix on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.

The eight-episode second season dropped on Friday, May 7, 2021 on Netflix. In Season 2, Nanno tackles even bigger social injustices that take her beyond school grounds. But, this time, she is no longer the only vigilante around as another enigmatic girl follows in her shadow, forcing her to face her greatest challenge yet.
