Hosted by Nicole Murphy, GLOBAL BEAUTY MASTERS is a one-hour reality series that showcases the annual Battle of the Strands, also known as The World Cup of Beauty, which takes place each year in Las Vegas, where competitors work together on U.S. and international teams comprised of hair, makeup and nail stylists.

Season 2 of GLOBAL BEAUTY MASTERS premiered on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 6pm ET/PT on a new network: TLC. In the season opener, "Let the Games Begin," the U.S. Pro Teams must create a high fashion look from dollar store items while students must design a futuristic rock 'n roll masterpiece. This year's panel of professional judges includes Charlie Price of Charlie Price Hair; Eden Sassoon, salon owner and daughter of the legendary beauty icon, Vidal Sassoon; John Hauk, creative director of Entity Beauty; Vicki Starr, founder and CEO of Starr Treatment; and special guest judge John Paul DeJoria, co-founder and chairman of the board of John Paul Mitchell Systems. Among the notable guests and mentors, the show features Angie Everhart, Danielle Orsino, Dwight Eubanks, Jackie Siegel, Katie Meade, Kenny Kahn, Kim Vo, Rafe Hardy, Robert Cromeans, and Tracey Cunningham. The professional competition includes 10 US and 7 international teams, representing Bermuda, Canada, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Senegal, and South Africa.
