Plot Synopsis

GOOEY is a half-hour series that follows Chef Grace Ramirez, who's on a mission to find the gooiest, ooziest, most craveworthy dishes in America. On Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 9:30pm ET/6:30pm PT, Cooking Channel premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "ChicaGOO," Grace explores Chicago on her search for the Windy City's gooeiest foods. Her first stop is Giordano's for America's stretchiest cheesy pizza, and then she's on to Bang Bang Pie and Biscuits for a buttery biscuit dripping with gravy. To satisfy her sweet tooth, Grace stops at XO Marshmallow for their sticky s'more creation, the S'maco. For the gooey grand finale, Grace visits Imperial Lamian for an Asian egg custard bao that tickles the taste buds.
