Plot Synopsis

Loosely based on "Slut: The Play" by Katie Cappiello, GRAND ARMY is a one-hour scripted drama series that follows five students at Grand Army High School -- the largest public high school in Brooklyn -- as they take on a chaotic world while fighting to succeed, survive, break free and seize the future. The story opens with a bombing just blocks away from the high school, sending Grand Army into lockdown, building pressure that spills over at the "party of the century" that night. Then, Joey stages a protest at school, Owen and Jayson face a harsh penalty for their lockdown prank, and a hookup leaves Leila feeling awkward. On Friday, October 16, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire nine-episode first season of GRAND ARMY.
