Plot Synopsis

This reality series follows a Brooklyn-based family-run business, Santini Brothers Moving & Storage, as they move everything from pythons to pianos to antique suits of armor. Owners George and Joe Sr. have dedicated their lives to the family business and as they approach their golden years, they're looking to pass the torch down to their sons, Nick and Joe Jr. In each 30-minute episode, the Santinis take on one job, like moving an antique safe from the Museum of the American Gangster. THE GREAT SANTINI BROTHERS documents the following family members: George, who along with his brother -- the two youngest of 12 siblings -- has owned and operated the business for the past 50 years; Joe Sr., the youngest of the family, who is very practical, making him the perfect "consigliere" to his older brother; Joe Jr., the son of Joe Sr., who, unlike his father and uncle, is committed to the philosophy that the sole purpose of working is to fund his entertainment, gambling and night life; Nick, who is more like his uncle Joe and would rather be in the office planning, while his cousin, Joe Jr., takes care of the manual labor; Nicole, the daughter of George and the older sister of Nick, who manages the day-to-day operations of the moving business with her husband, Johnny C.; Johnny C., a son-in-law of George, who got his start in the family business after he retired from the FDNY in the wake of 9/11; and Kerry, a brother-in-law to George and Joe Sr., who works behind the scenes, booking the jobs, dealing with unruly employees, and handling over-the-top customers.
