Plot Synopsis

Fine Living originally planned to premiere "Green with Envy" on March 17, 2009, but it chose to air all six episodes on Earth Day 2009 instead. Host Jonathan Levit visits a number of green business -- the Orchard Garden Hotel in San Francisco, the Nusta Spa in Washington, D.C., and the Benziger Family Winery -- to show viewers their eco-friendly practices. Jonathan also educates viewers about how to improve their eco-lifestyles by throwing parties with recycled paper invitations and biodegradable plates and by raising pets with chemical-free cat litter and organic cotton chew toys.
