Plot Synopsis

Based on an Israeli series called THE GREENHOUSE, this half-hour suspenseful drama series is set in an elite boarding school called The Greenhouse, located in Southern California, where students are divided into two rival houses. When teen siblings Hayley and Alex enter their new private school eight months after their astronaut mom's sudden death, they find rivalry, romance and a mystery related to the recent loss of their mom. Alex is pitted against his older sister, Hayley, when their put on rival teams -- the Eagles and the Ravens -- and the houses must join forces to conquer challenges when an evil plot is uncovered. The Eagles pressure Alex to help them get revenge against the Ravens; meanwhile, FBI agents look for a weapon lost near campus and suspect a student took it. For their first challenge, the Eagles and Ravens compete to solve a riddle. On Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the 12-episode second season of GREENHOUSE ACADEMY. In Season 2, new student Aspen comes between Hayley and Leo. Max and Jackie investigate Emma's sudden departure from the school. Brooke falls under a bad influence. In the season opener, "Escape Mechanism," flashbacks reveal a discovery that teenage Ryan made at the Greenhouse and an order given shortly before the Athena launch. Brooke is led into a trap. Then, in "The Client," know-it-all Aspen grates on Hayley's nerves during a quiz game, and Brooke suffers a strange lapse in memory. Max misses Emma and tries calling her.

GREENHOUSE ACADEMY returned for Season 3 on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released eight episodes of the new season. The students at the Academy face shifting loyalties, romantic entanglements and a growing conspiracy as they're tested in ways they never imagined. In the season opener, "The Hike," the Eagles and Ravens start getting too friendly, and the headmaster sends them on a grueling two-day hike devised to reignite their competitive fire.
