Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by series star Jon Hamm, GRIMSBURG is a half-hour animated comedy series that centers on Marvin Flute, who may be the greatest detective ever to catch a cannibal clown and correctly identify a mid-century modern armoire. But there's one mystery he still can't crack -- himself. To do that he must return to Grimsburg, a town where everyone has a secret or three, and redeem himself in the eyes of his fellow detectives, his ferociousex-wife and his lovably unstable son. Guest voices for Season 1 include: Rosie Perez as Detective Martina Martinez, Kaniehtiio Horn as Wynona Whitecloud, Wendi Mclendon-Covey as Chief Stamos, Jaime Camil as Mayor Dilquez, Christina Hendricks as Anna, Amy Sedaris as Lil' Betsy and Patton Oswalt as Slasher. GRIMSBUG makes its special series debut on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on FOX.

On Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 9:30pm ET/PT on FOX, GRIMSBURG debuted in its regular timeslot. In this new episode, "The Flute Show," Marvin's investigation into an unknown serial killer, coined "the Boner" by local media for mutilating their victims with animal bones, is interrupted by a production crew who's in town to turn the case into a true crime limited series. Meanwhile, Stan grows close with the actor playing Marvin. Rob Huebel provides a guide voice.

The series was renewed for a second season nearly 15 months before it debuted.
