Plot Synopsis

Stationed in Port Hallet along the British Columbia Coast, four members of the Canadian Coast Guard must balance their dangerous work lives saving others with their personal lives where they struggle to save themselves. The rescue team includes: Duty Captain Miro Da Silva, the leader who is having financial troubles; Rescue Specialist Jeremy Guilbaut, who suffers from emotional problems after a rescue gone awry; Rescue Specialist Carly Greig, who is an alcoholic with commitment issues; and First Mate Laura Nelson, who lives with her fiance David, who suffers from MS. ION aired the US premiere of the series with back-to-back episodes of Season 1 on March 13, 2010.
