Plot Synopsis

Each year, this sports awards program lets kids honor icons in television, film, music and sports. Categories typically include: Most Awesome Mascot; Alti-Dude (Top alternative sports high flyer); That's How I Roll/I Got Swag (Award for the most stylish athlete); Dynamic Duo (Award for the best teammates); Gnarliest Newcomer (Award for the top rookie); We Got Game (Award for the best team); Best Foes Forever (Award for the greatest rivals); and more. During the first two years, First Lady Michelle Obama celebrated and promoted the Let's Move! initiative, for which she is a national spokesperson and co-founder. In addition, in 2011 Earvin "Magic" Johnson received the first-ever Gameblazer Award for his lifetime achievement in sport. Plus, the event features musical performers, including: The Wanted and The Street Drum Corps (2013); rapper Flo Rida and musical group 'Hot' Chelle Ray (2012); and Travie McCoy and the Inglewood High School Marching Band (2011).

The 4th Annual Hall of Game Awards, hosted by NFL quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton, was taped on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA, and Cartoon Network broadcast the event on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 7-8:30pm ET/PT. The 2014 event also featured performances by the Harlem Globetrotters, the extreme pogo group Xpogo, Mascots from the NHL, NBA, MLB and NFL competing in an obstacle course, skateboarder Nyjah Huston, Olympic gold medalist for downhill skiing Lindsay Vonn, two-year-old trick-shot master Titus, WWE Superstars The Miz and Alicia Fox, skateboarders, BMX bikers and skiers in an extreme sports demo and many more. Plus, Fall Out Boy and Jason Derulo were the featured musical performers.
