Plot Synopsis

Gifted criminal profiler Will Graham teams up with Dr. Hannibal Lecter, one of the premier psychiatric minds in the country, to pursue and catch the most complex villains -- if Will only knew about Lecter's serial-killing future. After a particularly grueling case involved in hunting a serial killer known as the Minnesota Shrike, Will Graham threatens to walk away. Jack Crawford, the head of the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit, desperately needs Will on his team to break the tough cases, so he enlists Dr. Hannibal Lecter to ensure Will's mental well-being. Unbeknownst to Will, Hannibal also has a particular insight into these horrible crimes and the psychopaths who commit them. As Will hunts down brutal killers, he is unknowingly sitting across from the most gifted killer of them all. HANNIBAL returned for its second season on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT on NBC. In the Season 2 premiere, Will fought for his innocence as Hannibal and Jack tried to come to terms with the fact that he was behind bars; meanwhile, Alana faced a strained relationship with Will while Kade Purnell with the FBI paid him a visit. HANNIBAL returned for its third season on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT on NBC. After the shocking events of the Season 2 finale, Hannibal is on the run in Europe -- accompanied by his psychiatrist Bedelia Du Maurier -- sporting a new identity working at the Palazzo Capponi museum in Florence, Italy, but servicing the same insatiable appetite. Meanwhile, the lives of Will, Jack and Alana converge toward Hannibal again, and their deadly dance turns in startling and unexpected ways, and nothing will ever be the same again.

NBC premiered the series finale of HANNIBAL on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT. In the series ender, "The Wrath of the Lam," Will Graham engineers a cunning ploy utilizing Hannibal Lecter in a desperate bid to slay Francis Dolarhyde. Upon learning of his plan, Bedelia Du Maurier voices concerns that Will's actions may not only put his life in peril, but the lives of those around him. As the end draws near, Will remains unflinching in his game with Hannibal -- even when it means coming face-to-face with his own darkest fears.
