Plot Synopsis

HAPPY'S PLACE is a half-hour comedy series that follows Bobbie, who inherits her father's restaurant and is less than thrilled to discover that she has a new business partner, Isabella, the half-sister she never knew she had. Isabella is an enthusiastic twentysomething, who has studied psychology and loves to analyze people. She is thrilled to start working at the tavern and is full of "great" ideas about how to bring it to life. Emmett -- played by Reba McEntire's real-life boyfriend Rex Linn -- is the short order cook and is now the patriarch because he's worked at the tavern the longest. Melissa Peterman plays long-time bartender Gabby, who is a bit needy and dramatic -- and would have loved to be Bobbie's sister. Peterman reunites with Reba, who both starred in REBA, which ran from 2001-2007, where Peterman played Debra Jean, a dental hygienist who had an affair with Brock, Reba's on-screen husband.
