Plot Synopsis

HARD PARTS: SOUTH BRONX follows Bronx business owner Joe Ferrer and his team at BS&F Auto Parts as they hunt down impossible-to-find auto parts for customers, such as an impossible-to-satisfy taxicab repair business or a mobile attorney in an RV. Joe is a hard-ass, tough-as-nails task master who gets down on the guys he works with, demands a great deal from them, but he then just as quickly, gives them the opportunity to grow. His crew includes: Hector Andujar, whose easy-going attitude helps keep the back of the BS&F house running smoothly throughout the nearly constant influx and shipping of inventory; James Montijo, one of Joe's go-to guys, who has the ability to handle almost any situation with the right amount of business and personal savvy; Permnand Persaud, one of Joe's most important and trusted employees, who handles cash transactions at the register and accounts for all invoices; and Richie Morales, one of Joe's longest-standing employees, who is quick with any information that a customer may need. SPEED aired a special preview of this series on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11pm ET, immediately after the Sprint Cup All-Star Race, with the official series premiere five days later.
