Plot Synopsis

This reboot of HEAD OF THE CLASS revolves around a group of overachieving high school students who meet their greatest challenge: a teacher, Alicia Gomez, who wants them to focus less on grades and more on experiencing life. Fresh from the tech sector, Alicia is a noob in the classroom, where she gets support from fellow teacher Elliot Olsen. Alicia's honors debate elective course includes these students: school swim champ Terrell, ultra-preppy aspiring politician Luke, style maven Miles, coder girl Robyn, and tech whiz Makayla. They soon joined by Sarah, who is Principal Maris' daughter. Robin Givens reprises her character from the 1986 series, as the present-day parent of Terrell. All 10 episodes of the first season dropped on Thursday, November 4, 2021 on HBO Max.
