Plot Synopsis

In this half-hour series produced by Ellen DeGeneres, host Curt Menefee strolls through terminals talking to travelers and discovering the heartwarming and hilarious stories behind every arrival and departure. Each story reveals the most memorable moments that take place daily between families and loved ones in airports across the United States -- everything from stories of marriage proposals, surprise greeters and big family reunions from travelers from all walks of life and cultures. "Talking with strangers in airports, you really learn a lot about the human spirit. So often it came back to the power of love," says Menefee. "Whether it was the family we met awaiting their relatives from Syria, or the man who was reuniting with his sister after 40 years without contact, or people seeing each other in person for the first time after meeting online (those were always interesting). The stories ran the gamut from the deeply personal, to the hilarious and humorous. Love is often what helps us all get through the day." In the series opener, Curt meets a trio of backing vocalists who perform with superstar Jennifer Hudson, a widower awaiting the first meeting with his online girlfriend and a couple facing a painful decision after meeting on a layover. Then, in the second episode, Curt meets a man who suddenly proposes at International Arrivals, a woman moving cross-country for love, a same-sex couple with four children and a mother anxiously awaits her daughter's return after the Paris tragedy.
