Plot Synopsis

Based on the French series HAUT POTENTIEL INTELLECTUEL (HPI), HIGH POTENTIAL is a one-hour scripted series that follows a single mom with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with Karadec, a by-the-book seasoned detective in the LAPD Major Crimes unit. As Morgan and the detectives adjust to her new role as a consultant, they investigate the attempted murder of a tap dancer and discover things are not quite as they seem.

After a two-month break, HIGH POTENTIAL returned with new episodes on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT on ABC. In the winter premiere, "Obsessed," the team investigates a mysterious young girl who was found attacked on a beach. Meanwhile, Morgan begins to let her guard down on her date with Tom, and Soto comes one step closer to finding out what happened to Roman.
