Plot Synopsis

Featuring never before seen footage and first-hand accounts from law enforcement personal whose job it is to live life in the fast lane, HIGH SPEED CHASE is a one-hour docuseries that explores a world in which the criminals will do anything to get away. From highways and interstates to the cities and backroads of suburbia, police officers all over the US risk their lives every day to bring those that flee to justice. In the series opener, "Human Shield," an argument escalates into a double kidnapping in Florida, spurring a police chase. The suspect uses a hostage as a human shield and escapes into a nearby forest. What starts as a routine shoplifting case soon becomes something more bizarre in Oklahoma.
