Plot Synopsis

Over a tense summer on the Belgian coast, a wealthy friend group faces adulthood's harsh realities while grappling with love and societal expectations. The series opens with newcomer Daan getting a rough introduction to an unfamiliar world of excess when he encounters Alex and his posse of "rich, arrogant bastards." In an attempt to gain footing within the close-knit group of friends, Daan pushes too far; meanwhile, the van Daal family hires a nanny with ulterior motives. Soon, Eleonore grows suspicious of her new nanny. HIGH TIDES made its U.S. debut on Thursday, December 7, 2023 on Netflix, which released all 10 episodes.
