Plot Synopsis

Created, written, directed, and executive produced by George Kay and Jim Field Smith, HIJACK is seven-episode thriller, told in real time, that follows the journey of a hijacked plane, Flight KA29, as it makes its way from Dubai to London over a seven-hour flight, and authorities on the ground scramble for answers. Sam Nelson is an accomplished negotiator in the business world who needs to step up and use all his guile to try and save the lives of the passengers -- but, his high-risk strategy could be his undoing. Zahra Gahfoor is a counter terrorism officer who is on the ground when the plane is hijacked and becomes part of the investigation. HIJACK premiered with two episodes on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 on Apple TV+, which released a new installment each Wednesday through August 2.
