Plot Synopsis

Based on the live comedy show of the same name, which was created by Eddie Furth, Ryan Pigg and Samee Junio, HISTORICAL ROASTS is a half-hour comedy series that features "Roastmaster General" Jeff Ross and a slew of guest stars poking fun at major historical figures while also honoring their enduring impact on the world. On Monday, May 27, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the six-episode first season of HISTORICAL ROASTS, which lampoons these historical figures: Abraham Lincoln (portrayed by Bob Saget), Freddie Mercury (James Adomian), Anne Frank (Rachel Feinstein), Martin Luther King Jr., Cleopatra (Ayden Mayeri), and Muhammad Ali (Jaleel White).
