Plot Synopsis

Each year since 2002, The Grove in Los Angeles' Fairfax District has hosted an annual Christmas-tree lighting ceremony in mid-November, featuring musical performances, celebrity guests, and fireworks -- as well as an appearance from Santa Claus. The event is taped, shown in national syndication from late November through early January, and on ReelzChannel in mid December.

In 2014, A HOLLYWOOD CHRISTMAS AT THE GROVE, a one-hour special hosted by Nancy O'Dell, was taped on Sunday, November 16 at The Grove in Los Angeles, with performances by: legendary funk band Earth, Wind and Fire; R&B sensation Aloe Blacc; singer and actress Darlene Love; country music star Frankie Ballard; VMA's 2014 Artist to Watch winner Fifth Harmony; and American a cappella group Pentatonix. At the crowning moment The Grove is lit by more than 15,000 lights that adorn the towering 100-foot Christmas tree as fireworks fill the sky. ReelzChannel premiered this 60-minute special on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 3pm ET/ 12pm PT.
