Plot Synopsis

Each year since 1997, the Hollywood Film Awards, founded by Carlos de Abreu, have launched the awards season, celebrating Hollywood and honoring award recipients for their body of work and/or film that is to be released during the calendar year. The first-ever Hollywood Film Awards gala took place in October 1997 in the historic Blossom Room at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where Kirk Douglas took home the inaugural Hollywood Lifetime Achievement Award. On Sunday, November 6, 2016, James Corden hosted the 20th Annual HOLLYWOOD FILM AWARDS from The Beverly Hills Hilton with presenters Casey Affleck, Warren Beatty, Clint Eastwood, Andrew Garfield, Jonah Hill, Kate Hudson, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Anna Kendrick, Sir Ben Kingsley, Lenny Kravitz, Leslie Mann, Julianne Moore, Dev Patel, Susan Sarandon and Vince Vaughn. This year, Eddie Murphy is honored with the Hollywood Career Achievement Award.
