Plot Synopsis

Paris Hilton, an Insta-famous celebrity before there was a name for it, introduces tales of wannabe singers, model-actresses, rappers, photographers, designers, and DJs trying to make it in modern day Los Angeles. They've all got big dreams and backstories and exemplify the current so-called "selfie culture." Each half-hour episode of HOLLYWOOD LOVE STORY explores the blurred lines between the fantasy and reality of living in Hollywood craving fame and sharing it all on social media, where success and self-worth are measured in likes, follows and reposts. In the series opener, aspiring singer Riiottt flees from Queens, NY, to Los Angeles, where she attempts to establish herself as a fairy pop star.

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:30pm ET/PT, Viceland premiered the season finale of HOLLYWOOD LOVE STORY. The season ender centers on Angel, an undocumented immigrant, who aspires to become a commercial photographer. His family's immigration status, including his own, is uncertain in Donald Trump's America.
