Plot Synopsis

Shot in the wilderness of Magnetawan, Ontario, Canada, HOME IN THE WILD is a half-hour docuseries that follows Jim and Tori Baird, who thought their days of professional adventuring were over when their son Wesley was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder. But after learning from doctors that being immersed in nature could have a positive impact on his development, they take Wes and his baby brother on expeditions into the backcountry to see if an off-grid life would be not only possible but beneficial for their family. On Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 10-11pm ET/PT, HOME IN THE WILD debuted with back-to-back episodes on National Geographic Channel. The final two episodes of the four-part series debut one week later on Tuesday, May 9 from 10-11pm.
