HOOD ADJACENT WITH JAMES DAVIS is a half-hour series that explores contemporary urban topics through a unique, hybrid style of comedy that bridges the gap between urban and mainstream comedy. Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Davis shares his perspective on the world he grew up in and the world he grew up next to. The premiere episode follows James as he explores the Hood, what defines "Hood," and why it's only glamorized or villainized by the media. He takes us on a journey to the Hood with his friend Stevie J to earn his Hood Pass and introduces us to a Trap Kitchen.
