Plot Synopsis

In this half-hour series, contractor Jared Walker Dostie and carpenter April Wilkerson set out to create spectacular household furniture and decor by re-purposing old and outdated items. And then the duo decide if these home improvement hacks are worth the time and effort. On Monday, October 2, 2017 at Noon ET/PT, DIY Network premiered the pilot of HOUSE HACKS, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Summer Oasis," Jared and April create a gorgeous pool out of a dumpster, a classy backyard bar from old shipping pallets and elegant seating from used tires.
