Plot Synopsis

Based on a story by series star Kento Kaku, Yoshiaki Murao, and Takafumi Imai, HOUSE OF NINJAS is an eight-episode thriller that centers on a a dysfunctional family, who, years after retiring from their formidable ninja lives, must return to shadowy missions to counteract a string of looming threats. What would happen if ninjas were still a part of Japanese society today? Set in today's Japan, this series tells the story of the Tawara family, the last ninja clan that abandoned its roots after a particular mission. Now, the family must face the biggest crisis Japan has seen yet -- one that threatens to shake the nation to its core. Haru is the second son of the Tawara family, and, although he is an elite ninja with unrivaled skills, his kindness led to disaster and a great trauma that still haunts him. Haru's family includes his father Soichi, his mother Yoko, his older brother Gaku, his older sister Nagi, and his mysterious grandmother Taki, who watches the family from the shadows. All eight episodes of HOUSE OF NINJAS dropped on Thursday, November 15, 2024 on Netflix.
