Plot Synopsis

Traveling across the world in search of the answers, we meet the people who designed and built them and reveal the extraordinary modern engineering secrets that made these modern wonders possible. Season 2 of HOW DID THEY BUILD THAT? debuted on Smithsonian Channel on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT. The season opener, "Riverparks & Artworks," visits the Hearst Tower in New York City, a 56,000-square-foot private museum named the Audain Museum in Vancouver, and Library Learning Centre in Vienna to learn about how they were built.
