Plot Synopsis

Adventure scientists Liz Bonnin and Martin Pepper go into the field to explore some of the most provocative questions facing earth science today, while revealing how the Earth works as they search for answers. In each 60-minute episode, the hosts attempt to answer a different question, such as: Can Krakatoa stop time? Did an asteroid wipe out dinosaurs?; Will geologic events in Hawaii wipe out Los Angeles?; Could a supervolcanic eruption turn Europe into a burning hell?; Is there a link between the Rocky Mountains and the uranium found in the atomic bomb?; and many more questions about how the Earth can change the course of history.
