Plot Synopsis

In this two-part special, scientists use high-tech sensors, medical equipment, video and computer graphics to debunk the mysteries behind human acts that seem to defy the laws of nature and physics. The human feats include: someone pushing a screwdriver up his nose; Trever McGhee taking a long firewalk; Jessica Wilson holding her breath underwater for more than six minutes; Franz Mullner holding back a sports car at full throttle; Thomas Blackthorne swallowing a working jackhammer; Bella hanging in the air with hooks that pierce her back, bearing the entire weight of the body; contortionist Iona Luvsandorj twisting and folding her body into potentially paralyzing positions; and two-time Brooklyn pizza-eating champ Willy Millender eating so much so quickly.
