Plot Synopsis
Executive produced by Gale Anne Hurd and showrunner Natalie Chaidez, HUNTERS is inspired by Whitley Strieber's novel, "Alien Hunter," in which the disappearance of a decorated FBI agent's wife leads him to a secret government unit assembled to hunt a group of ruthless terrorists -- shadowy figures that may or may not be from this world. This one-hour series, a crossover between gritty crime drama and sci-fi thriller, follows Flynn, a headstrong Baltimore FBI agent with a dark past trying to piece together the disappearance of his wife, Abby, a talented piano player and teacher. Flynn is joined by: Regan, one of the government's most valuable operatives, who may be keeping secrets of her own; McCarthy, an unhinged junkie and Hunter cell leader; team leader Truss Jackson, a former Army Special Forces, who is currently the no-nonsense Commander of the Exo-Terrorism Unit (ETU), a secret government organization dedicated to tracking aliens known as 'Hunters'; Dylan Briggs, who is cold, by-the-book and ruthlessly dedicated to taking down Hunters, behavior that often puts him at odds with his teammates; and Jules Callaway, an MIT-trained analyst and the tech team leader of the ETU, who is a highly regarded and dependable member of the team.
