Plot Synopsis

Described by creator Prentice Perry as having "the tone of ENTOURAGE, but in the hip-hop space," THE HUSTLE is a half-hour, scripted drama that centers on up-and-coming rap duo Brooklyn's Finest, D and Kutta, who are best friends navigating the music industry in hopes of making it big. Their hype man, Rashad, keeps them honest and their childhood friend, Ya-Ya, is now a label exec at Flatbush Records helping them snag their first record deal. THE HUSTLE not only shows what happens on the music scene as Kutta and D try to breakout with their new label, but the show also reveals what happens in their personal lives. Immediately after the 2013 MUCHMUSIC AWARDS, Fuse aired two back-to-back, sneak-peek episodes of this series on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 11pm ET, three days before presenting the same two episodes as the official series premiere on Wednesday, June 19, at 11pm ET.
