Plot Synopsis

Using first-person accounts, dramatic re-creations and real video and audio, I WAS POSSESSED chronicles present-day demonic possessions and exorcisms including the backstories of the everyday people who were affected. Each 60-minute episode tells two separate stories through the stages of possession: infestation, oppression and full possession. People featured in this series include: Molly, who prays to demonic entities to take her instead of her son; Tanisha, who is possessed by generational demons when she is pulled away from a safe environment; Aicha, who is possessed by a demon after she and her family move into a haunted house; Caleb, who has been tormented by an evil presence since he was a small child; and many others who were possessed.
