Plot Synopsis

Based on Steven Gould's book of the same name -- his third novel in the "Jumper" books series -- IMPULSE centers on a rebellious 16-year-old girl named Henry, who has always felt different from her peers and has longed to escape from her seemingly quaint small town of Reston, New York. With a major chip on her shoulder and no friends, she remains withdrawn and isolated. But everything changes when a traumatic encounter with a classmate triggers something deep within Henry, and she discovers she has the extraordinary ability to teleport -- unleashing a power she cannot control. YouTube Red released all 10 one-hour episodes of IMPULSE on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Noon ET/9am PT.

Season 2 of IMPULSE debuted on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 on YouTube with a live premiere event at Noon ET/9am PT. In the second season, Henry is pursued by others who want her powers, but are also willing to teach her how to control them. Will she learn fast enough to save those around her -- and herself?
