Whether he's birthing a calf on a farm or treating a shar-pei with entropion, Dr. Pol takes an old school, no-nonsense approach to veterinary medicine as he cares for every family pet and head of livestock in his rural town. Back at the clinic, Dr. Pol also treats a wide array of household pets and odd animal ailments with his right-hand team, including his wife, Diane, the office manager; Dr. Brenda Grettenberger, Dr. Pol's long-time colleague; and Dr. Pol's son Charles, who helps with the workload and farm calls.
