Plot Synopsis

Using rare archive footage, reconstructions and CGI animation, INFAMOUS ASSASSINATIONS features the 20th Century's most damaging and outrageous assassination attempts. Each 30-minute episode focuses on a different target, including: Ernst Roehm, Princess Anne, Lord Mountbatten, John Lennon, Trotsky, Pope John Paul II, General Wladyslaw Eugeniusz Sikorski, William McKinley, Yitzhak Rabin, Zia al Huq, South African Prime Minister Dr. Henrick Verwoerd, General Reinhart Heydrich, Indira & Rajiv Gandhi, Ernesto 'Che' Guevara, Anwar Sadat, Ronald Reagan, Michael Collins, General de Gaulle, Adolf Hitler, Robert Kennedy, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Tsar Nicholas II, King Alexander, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and John F. Kennedy. Military aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10pm ET.
