Plot Synopsis

Comedian Amy Schumer uses sketch comedy, standup, and man-on-the-street segments to explore topics revolving around sex, relationships, jobs, and everyday life. Each 30-minute episode features Amy in three different vignettes, including: her regrets after a one-night stand; her experiences on a slightly less-than-terrifying plane flight; a casting session for 2 GIRLS 1 CUP; her attempts at sexting; a visit to a testicle-themed restaurant; her refusal to accept a compliment; and many more outrageous situations that blend her girl-next door looks and edgy comedy. During the man-on-the-street segments, she seeks answers to questions posed in her sketches, asking people questions like: "Have you ever had a one-night stand?" and "Have you ever sexted anyone?" Plus, Amy is joined by guest stars Amber Tamblyn, Michael Ian Black, Rob Schneider, Abby Elliott, Tig Notaro, Tom Papa, Lisa Lampanelli, Dave Attell, Will Janowitz, Nikki Glaser, Sara Schaefer and Missi Pyle.

On Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 10:30pm ET/PT, Comedy Central premiered the 10-episode third season of INSIDE AMY SCHUMER. In the Season 3 opener, "Last F**kable Day," Amy meets her heroes -- Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Patricia Arquette -- and learns that actresses have expiration dates; tries to get birth control; and explains where her poop comes out in a music video, "Milk, Milk, Lemonade," with Method Man and Amber Rose. Other Season 3 guests include Josh Charles, John Hawkes, Paul Giamatti, Jeff Goldblum, Dennis Quaid, Kevin Kane, Vincent Kartheiser, and more.

Season 4 of INSIDE AMY SCHUMER premiered on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on Comedy Central. In the season opener, "The World's Most Interesting Woman in the World," Amy gets a gynecological exam from Congress, shills for a product called Yo-Puss and pitches her idea for a historical musical to Lin-Manuel Miranda. Guest stars in the fourth season include: Michael Strahan and current NFL stars Vernon Davis and Greg Olsen, who appear in a sketch about a fantasy football league based on people's real lives; Andy Cohen, who sits in as host of a spoof of a REAL HOUSEWIVES reunion; and newcomers, like Lena Dunham, Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson, both Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal, Laura Linney, Jennifer Hudson, David Spade and Harvey Keitel. Four months earlier -- on January 6, 2016 -- Comedy Central announced it picked up the series for a fifth season.

After a 6.5-year break, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER returned with new episodes when Season 5 premiered on Thursday, October 20, 2022, as Paramount+ released the first two episodes of the new season. The remaining three episodes drop weekly through November 11. Amy Schumer continues to share her real thoughts about our effed up world in short scenes with some other funny people. This season's sketches include "Colorado," "Home Spanx," "Gratitude," "Fart Park," "Second Amendment," "The Last Noelle" and "Flatuda," among others. In addition to Schumer, Season 5 features Amber Tamblyn, Bridget Everett, Cara Delevinge, Chris Parnell, Ellie Kemper, Jesse Williams, Laura Benanti, Michael Ian Black, Olivia Munn and Tim Meadows, and returning writers Christine Nangle, Tami Sagher, Jon Glaser and Jeremy Beiler.
