Plot Synopsis

Directed and produced by Aljoscha Pause, INSIDE BORUSSIA DORTMUND is a four-part docuseries that goes behind-the-scenes with one of the Bundesliga's biggest clubs and re-lives the 2018/19 football season from the team's point of view. This series reveals their training facilities, the locker room drama, and the players' personal lives. In the middle of the 2019 championship race, tells the story from the point of view of the team that was so close to win the title and shows what the BVB is and what drives its players. In the first part of the series, director Aljoscha Pause shows us the grandiose amazing first half matches of the club, the BVB leadership' meetings and places that are usually taboo. INSIDE BORUSSIA DORTMUND premiered on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Amazon Prime released the first episode. One new episode debuts each subsequent Friday.
