Plot Synopsis

Created and written by Steven Moffat, INSIDE MAN is a four-episode dark crime drama that follows a prisoner on death row in the United States, a Vicar in a quiet English town, and a math teacher trapped inside a cellar as they cross paths in the most unexpected way. In America, wife killer Jefferson Grieff is a prisoner on death row seeking atonement as he faces execution. On a train in England, a British investigative journalist, Beth, is looking for a story. In a quiet little village, vicar Harry Watling is picking up his son's math tutor, Janice, from the station. But a misunderstanding puts the local vicar in a precarious position. When Janice finds herself trapped in a cellar, how far is she willing to go to escape? Meanwhile, on death row, Beth finds herself running an errand for Grieff, and Harry confronts his verger about a dangerous secret. INSIDE MAN made its U.S. debut on Monday, October 31, 2022 on Netflix, as the streaming service released all four episodes.
