Plot Synopsis

INSIDE THE FOOD FACTORY is a one-hour docuseries that follows Gregg Wallace as he goes behind-the-scenes and gets cooking in the factories that make everyone's fave foods. In the series opener, "Sweet Treats," Wallace visits candy factories across Britain showing the machinery that goes into making Kit Kats, Christmas confections, and chocolate biscuits.

A new season of INSIDE THE FOOD FACTORY made its U.S. debut on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT on Smithsonian Channel. In the season opener, "Tea Bags," Gregg Wallace receives a load of tea leaves from Kenya and follows their journey through the factory that produces one quarter of all the tea drunk in Britain.
